Introduction to statistics

This is my introduction to / essay on statistics. I say "introduction" but it's really intended to be read alongside or after traditional statistics study. The core of it is programming simulations to provide a basis for understanding conceptual foundations of significance testing. In so doing it serves as an introduction to using Python and the NumPy package for data analysis (it's a not an introduction to Python itself - it assumes you'll have done a general tutorial for that). It's also liberally sprinkled with opinions to enjoy or ignore.

There's a kindle and print version, same content as the PDF.
